Sangeita started her acting career in 2003 with a small role in the film Jhankaar Beats. After that, she took a break for a few years. In 2015, Sangeita played the lead role in the Kannada/Hindi film Luv U Alia. Next, she acted in the Kannada film Gunner.
Sangeita made her television debut in 2016 with the TV serial ‘Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman’ in which she essayed the role of ‘Meghna Solanki Singhania’.
She then acted in the television serial Piyaa Albela.In 2019, Chauhaan essayed the role of ‘Avi’ in the television serial Naagin 3.
