Sanjeev was born on August 28, 1961. He is 62 years old and is an actor from Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is a hard-working and talented actor who decided to develop his career on the small screen. After divorcing Resham Tipnis, he took on the responsibility of raising his children alone and earned a high reputation for his outstanding performances.

But in 2004, they divorced and began living apart. After the separation, their children lived with Sanjeev. However, Resham often visited Sanjeev at their house.

Profession
Sanjeev started his career in 2003 with the serial “Karishma Kaa Karishma” which aired on “Star Plus”. In 2009, he signed an agreement with Star Plus to play the role of Vishambharnath Maheshwari in the TV series “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai”. With this role, he gained a lot of popularity among the public. 
This fame led him to win the Star Parivaar Award in 2010 for “Favorite Pita” in “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai”. 2011-12 season, He won the Star Parivaar Award again for the same serial “Favorite Sarsur”.
