Profession

However, her comedy performances were paid very little. Soon, she got a job as a UX designer at Google. While working on Google Docs, she continued to write and perform stand-up comedy.

Satire Video
In the spring of 2020, she began posting a series of lip-syncing videos of Trump’s remarks (about potential treatments for the 2019 coronavirus) on TikTok. She then began posting more videos satirizing Trump, which quickly went viral and attracted widespread attention from the media and the public. Her videos have been commented on as an example of how comedians can perform political satire without an audience. According to her,
I removed the suit, the podium, the people behind him smiled and nodded and called him “sir,” and all that was left was his empty words that weren’t actually the best. This felt like an antidote to the gaslighting effect. I don’t know if Trump saw it, but I’m starting to think that maybe he didn’t realize I was making fun of him. Maybe he was even flattered that I was repeating all the ridiculous things he said on an hourly basis. But I hope he doesn’t get away with it for much longer. If my videos can help some people who have mentally distanced themselves from politics get back into it, I’m all for it. This year is it. Make sure to vote. Make sure to get involved and don’t be silent about the issues you care about. While I love making these videos, my dream is to fire my head writer and move on to new material.”
