Sarah Michelle Gellar Says Buffy the Vampire Slayer Reboot Is 'Progressing Faster Than I'd Anticipated' (Exclusive)

Things are moving smoothly with Buffy vampire killer Restart, according to Sarah Michelle Gellar.

The actress, 47, tells people in an exclusive interview that she is surprised by the current status of the recently announced restart in the popular series, in which she starred as a career role as a titular killer Buffy Summers.

“We have set up our offices, which means that things are progressing probably faster than I have foreseen,” says Gellar – who united with Trainline for his new campaign “Tickets for Summer Travel in Europe” – he says. “But I think it will be a process.”

According to Gellar, she is “excited” because of the “idea and the group behind” Bufy Restarting the series.

“I squeeze every day when I get into these rooms and watch Gail Berman, Zuckerman and Chloé Zhao,” she says. “It’s an amazing group.”

“There was no world where I thought Chloé Zhao would call me a partner with me and ask my advice about things and my opinion – especially since she didn’t do television,” Gellar continues.

“He’ll call me and say,” Well, I have to delay you, “and I’m like,” Wait, what? “These are not the words I have ever thought to hear,” adds the mother of two children.
