Sarah Paulson Says Girlfriend Holland Taylor ‘Makes My Life Better in Every Possible Way’

Sarah Paulson couldn’t help but gush about her girlfriend Holland Taylor during an appearance on View Tuesday.

While appearing to promote her new Broadway play suitable, the actress opened up about her eight-year relationship with Taylor, who she said made everything in her life meaningful.

“I’m thrilled and I feel very lucky to be with a person who is smarter, wiser, wittier than me, and it just makes my life better in every possible way,” Paulson said. “It makes me want to be a better person and a fully realized person.”

Added Paulson, 48: “She just makes me feel seen, which I think is the most important gift you can give any person.”

Paulson and Taylor, 80, first went public with their relationship in December 2015. The two stars met at a party in 2005, but didn’t start dating until a decade later after reconnecting on social media.

“I actually had a picture of her on my fridge for 10 years before we got together — which sounds weird,” Paulson said. View panelists Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin.

She explained that the two were out to dinner with a group that included Oscar winner Allison Janney and the late screenwriter Buck Henry when they spotted the Lamborghini parked outside the restaurant. “We came out and were like, ‘What?’ and we all jumped on the car and took this picture,” Paulson said, explaining that Henry took the photo. “He sent us all copies and they were on my fridge in my little apartment in West Hollywood for 10 years before we [dated]so it was strange…”

When asked by Behar if she had fallen in love with Taylor at the time, Paulson insisted that she had not. “Maybe there was a leak and I didn’t know, but she was in my kitchen!” Paulson said.

– It’s great – added the actress.

Paulson and Taylor have been supportive of each other since going public with their relationship, standing hand-in-hand at red carpet premieres and award shows, as well as documenting the highlights of their relationship in sweet social media posts.

Taylor discussed her romance with Paulson during a January 2017 interview on Radio Andy’s Sandyland broadcast, gushing that Paulson makes her feel like “the luckiest person in the world.”

“I have to say that has to be part of what has to be the most beautiful thing in my life, the whole embrace of this wonderful relationship that makes everything else make sense,” she added. – Today I cannot talk about my life without mentioning this wonderful love.
