- She has been interested in entertainment since she was a child. She attended dance classes when she was four years old. At the age of sixteen, she realized she wanted to be an actress.
- While she was studying acting at Queen’s University, she acted in films made by her friends as part of their projects. She said in an interview that her first job in the film industry was a job translating scripts given to her by a university professor.
