Sarita Romit Singh was born on Thursday, October 26, 1989, in Sambhal district, Uttar Pradesh (33 years old as of 2022). She hails from Jaskoli village, Sambhal tehsil Saidpur, Moradabad district, Uttar Pradesh. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. She studied at Kalyan Lodhi Inter College in Shakarpur Sot. After getting married in 2016, she continued her training under the guidance of her husband, Romit Singh. She said in an interview that her husband is her real motivation. In 2017, she represented India in the Federation Cup and set a national record in the hammer throw of 65.25 meters. In 2018, she participated in the Asian Games in Jakarta and finished fifth. She was very disappointed because she didn’t win any medal in the competition. In an interview, she said of the incident,
I can throw the hammer throw to 62.03 meters and finished fifth at the Jakarta Games. This was a big disappointment for me, but after having my daughter, I wanted to continue. I spent it in the national camp. I was so excited when I met my daughter for the first time six months after returning from camp. “
She then continued training and competing in many international competitions. In 2022, she qualified for the Commonwealth Games. In an interview, she said of the incident,
I learned from the mistakes I made at the Asian Championships and in Jakarta. Now I won’t repeat these mistakes again. In fact, I was not experienced enough at that time, but now things are much better and I am fully prepared to make a name for myself on the international stage. “
