Who is Satyendra Siwal?
Anti-terrorist squad of Uttar Pradesh arrested a man Satyendra Siwal who was working in Indian Embassy in Russia. He was arrested for his alleged involvement in anti-national activities with Pakistan’s intelligence agency.
Satyendra Siwal was arrested from Meerut, UP. He provided the ISI with classified information about the strategic activities of the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian military establishment. Since 2021, he has been working at the Indian Embassy in Moscow as the Security Assistant in India.
The entire incident became public after the UP ATS received information from several sources that some ISI employees were luring the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with money in order to obtain confidential information.
Then the police started investigation through electronic and physical surveillance and found a resident of Shahmahiuddinpur village who was involved in the anti-India network.
During the investigation, Satyendra did not give satisfactory answers and confessed to the crime. An FIR has been registered against him under Section 121A of the IPC and the Official Secrets Act, 1923.

Satyendra Siwal is 30 years old and hails from Shahmahiuddinpur village in Hapur district, Uttar Pradesh. He was born to Jaiveer Singh who is a farmer. He passed out at a local public school.
He obtained his degree in computer science from a private institute in Meerut, UP. He has been interested in computers and technology since childhood and has always wanted to work in the IT sector.
Satyendra Siwal is married to Pooja with whom he has a two-year-old son. He often visits his family in India once a year. He is active on social networks where he often posts photos of his life in Moscow and his family.
