Savannah Chrisley is still grieving the loss of ex-fiancé Nic Kerdiles, who died in a motorcycle accident last month.
In her last episode Unlocked podcast, the Chrisley knows best The alum, 26, opened up about the former NHL player’s death and her decision to air the show despite talk of her new relationship with boyfriend Robert Shiver.
“This episode you’re about to hear was recorded a few weeks ago and it’s just airing, but it was recorded before Nic Kerdiles passed away,” she said.
“In this episode, I bring up my current relationship,” she continued. “We took a break last week, we didn’t air anything. It was because I wanted to respect Nic, his family, everyone involved and everyone who is currently hurt by his death.”

The reality star then reflected on her relationship with Kerdiles and how he impacted her life during their time together, saying: “I’m talking about my current relationship, but I’m also grieving the loss of someone who meant the absolute world to me. ”
“Nic and I were together for six years, we were engaged and there were so many great memories and at the end of the day, Nic made a huge impact on my life and he left such a mark on this world,” she said. “I can’t tell you how many people have reached out and told me stories about how Nic has impacted their lives.”
Chrisley concluded her message by sharing the lessons she learned from Kerdiles, saying, “And if his passing teaches us anything, I think it’s to love hard and love hard. And to treat people with so much love and kindness because that’s who he is.” did. Well Nic, I love you, I’ll miss you and you left your mark.”

Savannah Chrisley clings to Nic Kerdiles’ ‘signs’ as she comes to terms with his death: ‘This isn’t fair’
Kerdiles died in a motorcycle accident on September 23 at the age of 29. At the time, Nashville police told WRKN News 2 that the retired athlete ran a stop sign in a residential area north of the Tennessee capital while riding his motorcycle around 3:30 a.m.
Authorities said Kerdiles hit the driver’s side of the BMW. Although the other driver appeared to be unharmed, Kerdiles was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.
Chrisley shared multiple emotional tributes in honor of Kerdiles, the first of which was a Boomerang on her Instagram Story of the two sharing a sweet kiss.

“Still hoping you reply to my text…” she wrote above the clip before later sharing a picture of the couple on the beach with the caption. “Heaven got the most beautiful angel today… I miss you and I love you. I will forever treasure our last ‘I love you’ messages.”
The Unlocked The podcast host eventually posted a more lengthy tribute, noting that Kerdiles’ untimely death was “not just.”
“We’ve had some really great, bright moments, and we’ve had some really hard times, but the part of our relationship that I will always hold onto will always be the moments in the middle,” she wrote in part in an Instagram post.
