VICKY Pattison has told of her “terrifying” trip to hospital as her health declined – after “ignoring” all the warning signs.
The TV personality, 36, was admitted on Friday after being “physically unable to move”.

Vicky caused concern after disappearing from social media.
She returned this afternoon to tell fans she is recovering in hospital – but admits she will be there “for a while”.
Posting pictures of her in a hospital bed, Vicky said: “They think it’s glandular fever, a big infection and an abscess in my throat.
“I didn’t allow myself recovery time after covid and I guess that just compromised my immune system.

“This year I didn’t allow myself a break, I burned the candle at both ends, worked a heavy schedule and ignored all the signs that my body was desperate for rest.
“I feel exhausted, overworked, can’t sleep at night because of anxiety, I’m exhausted in the morning, I lose my appetite, I haven’t prioritized my exercise… I haven’t done anything since the half marathon in April which is so unlike me.
This was the wake up call I needed, but I’m mad at myself for letting it go so far. I’m going to be in the hospital for a while and I think it’s for the best.”
Vicky originally believed she would be released from the hospital later today.
However, she explained the extent of her illness in an Instagram post, before adding: “There are far more important things to worry about in the world.”
Taking fans through the last few days of the health scare, Vicky explained: “On Thursday I woke up with a terrible headache, I ignored it and assumed it was because I had a super long day the day before.

“Anyway it continued and it became a sore throat, blade vibrations and I got fevers, aches, joint pains etc.
“I tried to get an appointment with an emergency doctor, but we were stuck in a terrible accident – a trip that should have taken an hour took six, and although the doctor did his best on the phone, he had no real way of knowing what was best.
“Fast forward 24 hours and I started feeling sick which only made things worse – my throat was so swollen I couldn’t swallow, I was drinking water and pain pills were out of the question. It got to the point where I physically couldn’t move.
“I started to get scared, I made another emergency appt with my doctor and they sent me straight to the ER. After about 36 hours, about six bags of fluids, three antibiotics and untold amounts of pain reliever, we’re starting to get to bottom of things.”
Vicky assured fans she was starting to feel “much better”, before adding: “But I’m completely off the pain meds so hopefully this isn’t too chaotic.”
