School holidays in Telangana: All schools and colleges in Hyderabad will remain closed for two days due to Telangana assembly elections. Collector of Hyderabad has declared public holiday for 29th and 30th November 2023. Parents and students can get in touch with the school authorities in case of any queries or concerns regarding school holidays in Telangana.

Collector Hyderabad took to microblogging site X and wrote, ”In view of Telangana Assembly Elections 2023, all educational institutions in Hyderabad district will remain closed on 29th and 30th November 2023. Regular activities will resume on 1st December 2023. ”

Telangana School Holiday: The state declares November 30 as a public holiday

Earlier, the state government had declared November 30 as a public holiday for all workers and employees in Telangana due to the upcoming assembly elections.

Parents or guardians have received notices from schools stating school closures along with the reason. Meanwhile, Hyderabad is gearing up for the elections to be held on November 30, with the counting of votes scheduled for Sunday.

Telangana School Holidays: When will schools reopen in Hyderabad?

According to the tweet, schools are scheduled to reopen on December 1, 2023. All regular activities will resume after a two-day break.

Bihar School Holiday Calendar 2024 Released

Meanwhile, the Bihar Education Department has released the 2024 holiday calendar. The vacation calendar was created taking into account the mandatory 220 working days to be filled in one academic year.

According to reports, the vacation calendar states that summer vacations will be valid only for students. Teachers are expected to work during the summer holidays. During the summer holidays, parent meetings, special classes and exams are held according to the published holiday calendar.
