Haryana School Time Audit

Haryana School Timings: Haryana Education Board has changed the school timings from 15th November 2023 onwards. According to the revised schedule, all single-shift schools across the state will work from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Whereas for schools in two shifts, the first shift will work from 7:55 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the second shift from 12:40 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. All schools in the state must adhere to the revised timetables starting November 15. Parents and students can get in touch with the school authorities regarding the revised school timetables in Haryana.

The education department has written a letter to the District Fundamental and District Education Officers directing them to introduce the new Haryana school timings. Previously, schools in various districts were closed due to increased pollution and very low air quality index.

Schools closed due to alarming pollution in Delhi NCR

Apart from revising the school timetable in Haryana, the Gurugram administration has suspended classes from nursery to class five until further notice. Authorities have decided to close schools to protect school children from air pollution in Delhi NCR.

Vikram Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Faridabad has also ordered the closure of schools from classes 1 to 5 from November 7 to 12, 2023. Also, the Delhi government has announced early winter holidays from November 9 to 19, due to severe air pollution in the city .
