Schools in Telangana may be closed tomorrow
Telangana School Closure Update: Hyderabad India Meteorological Department has issued heavy rain warnings in several districts of Telangana on 20 and 21 July 2023 while Telangana Weather and Telangana State Development Planning Society has predicted rainfall today and tomorrow. Based on these predictions, the government may order the closure of schools in Telangana tomorrow. However, so far no official news has been released by the state or local government regarding the closure of schools in Telangana.
Will Telangana school close tomorrow?
So far, the Telangana government has not issued any directives to close schools or educational institutions in the state. However, according to past records when the red alert was issued, the government tended to actively close schools as a precautionary measure. Also, depending on weather conditions, local authorities may decide to temporarily close schools and colleges in affected areas of Telangana. Students should stay in touch with their school to stay informed of any news or changes.
IMD and TSDPS red alert for some areas of Telangana
Telangana State Development Planning Association (TSDPS) has forecasted substantial rainfall in the following districts: Nirmal, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Medak, Sangareddy, Rajanna Sircilla, Jagtial, Pedapalli, Mancherial, Adilabad, Jayashankar, Bhupalpally, Hanumakonda, Warangal and Mulugu. As a result, schools in these Telangana districts are expected to remain closed tomorrow due to expected weather conditions.
