Sean 'Diddy' Combs and Cassie's Former Makeup Artist Recalls Seeing 'Badly Bruised' Cassie After Alleged Fight

Mylah Morales, a makeup artist who previously worked with Sean “Diddy” Combs and Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, said she saw signs of the alleged abuse while the producer and singer were dating.

In an interview with Extra published on Tuesday, May 21, Morales claimed that an alleged incident that occurred during Grammy weekend at the Beverly Hills Hotel more than 10 years ago will never leave her mind.

Morales recalled, “Everything I witnessed was [Combs] walk into the room and say, ‘Where the hell is she?’ and I didn’t know what was going on. I said, ‘I just woke up from a dream,’ and the next thing I hear from the bedroom was just s— [that] I don’t want to go back and think.”

“I didn’t know what was going on … all I could think about was getting her out of there,” Morales said.

She went on to describe the “Me & U” singer’s appearance after returning to the room.

“She was bruised. I mean, really scarred, like knots on the head, a bruise on the eye,” Morales said of Ventura, now 37.

Morales continued: “I only cared about getting her to safety, I took her to my house and kept her there for a few days. I literally called my friend who was a doctor at the time to treat her because we couldn’t bring her to the hospital. We didn’t know what to do at that moment. Who are we going to call?”

“I’m afraid to even talk about this, but I feel like someone has to,” she said.

Earlier in the interview, Morales said others felt intimidated by Diddy, 54.

“We were always afraid of Puff,” she said, referring to his previous stage name Puff Daddy. “He is a powerful person and we don’t know what would happen to us if we spoke out.”

Another source, who spoke anonymously, also said Extra about what they witnessed after the alleged incident.

“Cassie must have had a bruise on her eye. Her lip was swollen. She had bruises all over her body. She looked very bad. They advised her to go to the emergency room to rule out major head trauma, but she was too scared. She was just scared and deflated. It was really sad – said the source.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs allegedly paid $50,000 to obtain hotel security footage of Cassie attack: Lawsuit

Morales’ comments come less than a week after CNN released footage of the Bad Boy executive kicking, punching and dragging Cassie, his then-girlfriend, at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. The incident was caught on hotel surveillance cameras.

In November, Combs and Ventura reached a settlement just one day after she filed her lawsuit — which accused him of rape, sex trafficking, domestic violence and other crimes in New York state.

At the time, both sides released statements saying they had decided to “resolve this matter amicably.”

Diddy was sued Tuesday by a model named Crystal McKinney, who alleged he drugged and sexually assaulted her in his New York studio in 2003.

In addition to Ventura and McKinney, Combs faces sexual assault/harassment claims from three other women and one man.
