Sebastian Roché assures fans that 1923 Season 2 will not disappoint!
In an exclusive interview with People, Roché – who plays his father Renaud in the hit Paramount+ series – shared that the events in the upcoming season were “very satisfying” and that he would change the characters of “forever”.
“For me, the season of 2 seasons about travel. All characters go on a trip and yes, it’s very satisfactory,” says Roche (60).
He adds, “I mean, when you read all the scripts, you realize that you have established the characters at first. Of course, Spencer was on the way home. But now you realize that every character is on your own path, not just a physical but also a psychological journey. And that will change these people forever. ”
Roché talked especially about his character, noticing that he welcomed the upcoming evolution of Father Renaud “wholeheartedly”, calling the experience “great adventure”.

“And what I loved with my character is how complex my journey is – how much is the journey of the transformation father Renaud – as she stumbles in her quest to find this girl. What is she represents? This is a real transformation journey for him,” he continues.
While Roché said he couldn’t find out too much what the upcoming season would bring, he noted that “he had tears in my eyes” when he read the end. “[Show creator] Taylor [Sheridan] is romantic at heart and is beautiful. The way he writes is really in that vein, “he adds.
Actor born in France also revealed that working on the Sheridan show was a dream come true and that he was a fan of Yellow -brown Creative work for years.

“He’s a great dialogue – I don’t know if you can say it. It’s French. And his dialogues are second. And he doesn’t change them. The way he says – he doesn’t change him,” he tells people. “And so you know he is set up in a stone, and its character construction is truly exceptional. Sicario,, Hell or high watereverything he did. ”

“Only when I was on the set, I answered the costume on a horse,” Roché says. “It really comes true in terms of a young French boy who grows up near Paris, watching American films, and then I’m here … On a huge set of Westerners with an extraordinary part and extraordinary trip in my character. ”
