Sebastian Stan is officially the winner of the Golden Globe 2025.
Accepting the award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical or Comedy for A different manStan, 42, thanked his supporters on stage at The Beverly Hilton on Sunday, January 5.
Calling his film “not easy” to make, Stan said after accepting the trophy from hosts Andrew Garfield and Kerry Washington: “Our ignorance and discomfort around disability and disfigurement must end now.”
“We need to normalize it and continue to expose ourselves to it and encourage acceptance in our kids. One of the ways we can do that is to continue to champion stories that are inclusive,” the actor continued in part.
He also later shouted to his girlfriend Annabelle Wallis: “Annabelle, I love you.”

Stan concluded his speech by saying, “This is for my mum, who left Romania in search of a better life, gave me everything, and for my stepdad, Tony, who took on a single mother and a grown child. Thank you for being a real man. ”

Eisenberg, 41, wrote, directed and acted Real painstarring Kieran Culkin, who earlier that night won Best Supporting Actor.
The comedy-drama follows two estranged relatives on a journey through Poland to get in touch with their Jewish roots.
Eisenberg’s screenplay was also nominated for a Golden Globe, Film Independent Spirit Awards and Critics Choice Awards.

It represents the only recognition for the Golden Globe Kinds of kindness Plemons, 36, earned his first.
The Yorgos Lanthimos-directed comedy, which stars an ensemble cast that includes Emma Stone and Hong Chau, featured Plemons in a variety of quirky roles.
The Emmy and Oscar nominee also appeared in this year’s Kirsten Dunst-led drama Civil war.

Ending the year with his first Globe nomination, the actor also joined director Richard Linklater in co-writing Hit Mana real-life retelling of a fake killer in New Orleans who catches would-be criminals.
