Second MAFS UK bride ‘QUITS’ the E4 show on disaster honeymoon as fans say ‘this is chaos’

MARRIED At first glance, the British bride has seemingly left the show after a disastrous honeymoon.

Richelle, 48, is the second bride to throw in the towel on the E4 show days after walking down the aisle.

It all became too much for Richelle during a heartbreaking conversation with ‘husband’ Orson on their last day in Mauritius.

Richelle asked that they spend time apart and when they met again in the evening, she tried to explain her fears.

However, before she could get her words out she started to cry and an emotional Richelle said: “I think I’m done here people”.

Richelle thought she noticed red flags in Orson when he revealed he had been cheated on five years ago and said he wasn’t quite over it.

She also felt that he hadn’t been honest with her when he said he had feelings for her after they met just a few days ago.

The businesswoman has left her groom, and the teaser for tomorrow’s episode shows Orson arriving alone for the first dinner of the series.

Born in Ghana before moving to the UK at the age of 2, Richelle is Head of Alternative Markets for an investment firm.

She also graduated in politics and worked as a business consultant for many years.

The mother of a 20-year-old daughter with whom she lives, Richelle said that she is now looking for a life partner to make her feel complete.

Orson seemed to be a good match on paper, as the prominent businesswoman said she was looking for a man who was fit, funny and financially independent.

Viewers declared the new series “chaos” just a week later.

One wrote on X: “This season of #MAFSUK is CHAOS! Why did one guy say he can’t wait for ass**t marriage. Another said his wife is fat! Another can’t even compliment his wife! Oh my god. “

Another said: “Damn, if everyone leaves, this will be a short series!”

Wednesday night’s first dinner in the current episode also descends into chaos as shown in the short clip at the end of tonight’s episode.

Mafs couples that have stood the test of time

Lovers Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling from series six have welcomed their first child Mafs.

The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the show and quickly found themselves in the outside world, moving into Adam’s home in Doncaster.

Just 18 months after meeting, the couple had a daughter, Beau.

Season 5 couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins have also managed to keep their marriage off the camera and welcomed their first child in December.

Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us, “I just feel happy and grateful that it worked — and excited for everything to come.”

Michelle and Owen were sick of dating apps when they signed up in 2019.

Owen recalled: “I was having a drink with a friend after work.

“While he was out having a cigarette, I scrolled through Instagram waiting for him to come back.

“The MAFS ad was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I applied?’

“A few beers later, when I got home, I submitted my application and the rest is history.”

Another couple who made Mafs UK history are Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.

Despite a bit of an awkward start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same-sex pairing is still going strong.

They even have a successful collaborative podcast called Life With a Pod.

Jenna shed light on being on the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married and I’ve never felt like we were. I definitely feel like the process makes you take your relationship a lot more seriously and you have professional help… if you can survive that process , it lays a solid foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”
