“So, the moment she comes[s] Coming out and walking down, I’m thinking, ‘There’s my goddess, there’s my queen, my unicorn,'” shares Woolley. “I couldn’t believe this was happening, but I saw [sic] you, I just calmed down and it was like instantly, she’s calming me down and it’s just magical.”

“It is difficult to describe our attitude towards how we work,” he adds. “There’s just a big connection that I can’t explain.”

Christine was equally delighted, saying: “As soon as I turned the corner it was like a breath of fresh air again and there was the love of my life and this is everything I’ve wanted for so long.

As he led his mother to the altar, Paedon reassured her, saying, “He is a good man. He is a really good man.”

She then greets her father Rex with an emotional hug before walking down the aisle together. He tells her: “Have a wonderful day, honey. He is a wonderful man. You will love each other.”

Christine’s friend and former sister Janelle Brown was overjoyed that her dad was a part of the special occasion.

“I got a little emotional when Rex took Christine’s hand. I don’t know why,” explains Janelle. “He’s always just been a huge advocate for our faith and I think it’s great that he’s here with Christine who decided to do something different and is still a part of this wedding and it feels good.”

“If he was upset by her choice or whatever, it would have been difficult, but he’s not, he’s here,” she adds.

Sister wives‘ Christine and David pick up on the family’s suspicions — plus his gut reaction that Kody is ‘stupid’

The two-part special dedicated to her husband’s nuptials focuses on the ceremony that took place on October 7 in Moab, Utah.

Brown was previously one of four wives in Kody Brown’s polygamous marriage along with wives Janelle, Meri and Robyn. They divorced in 2021 after 25 years of life together. She and Kody are parents to daughters Aspyn (28), Mykelti (27), Gwendlyn (21), Ysabel (20), Truely (13) and son Paedon (25).

Before her wedding, Brown told PEOPLE in an earlier interview that marrying Woolley — whom she met on a dating app in October 2022 — was a “fairy tale” for her.

“That’s all I thought I’d have. I go to the altar to David, he just looks at me the way he does, it’s a dream come true.”

At the time, Woolley noted that the wedding would fulfill Brown’s longtime dream. “She wants to wear a white dress and walk down the aisle with her dad. She never had to do that in her first marriage,” he said of her 25-year polygamous marriage to Kody. “She wants all the bells and whistles.”
