See the Cute Way Taylor Swift Took over the Disney+ Homepage for Eras Tour Film Premiere

Disney+ celebrated the premiere of the film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour right way.

On Thursday, which marked the premiere of her concert film, Taylor Swift got some extra love from Disney by taking over the streaming service’s homepage.

The download, which took place for one day only, featured nine sets of film section titles inspired by each of her periods and labeled “The Disney Version”.

Each section included films that fit the theme of the era. For example: several movies that were released in 1989 were put under in 1989while movies with villains like Cruella are placed under Reputation and Cinderella was conveniently below at night, according to a TikTok video shared by a fan.

The recently expanded concert film includes five additional tracks: “Cardigan” and four acoustic tracks: “Death by a Thousand Cuts,” “Maroon,” “You Are in Love” and “I Can See You.” Four acoustic tracks are featured on the 26-minute acoustic extra, along with “Our Song” and “You’re on Your Own, Kid”.

Earlier this week, Swift, 34, premiered snippets of acoustic tracks on Good morning Americastarting the tease with the song “Maroon,” which she shared a clip of and Disney+ reposted on social media on Monday.

The documentary, directed by Sam Welch and filmed during the three Eras Tour shows at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium in August 2023, was first released theatrically in October 2023. The film was then released digitally with three additional tracks: “Wildest Dreams,” “Sagittarius ” and “Long Live”.

Upon release from Tour Eras, the film became a box office hit, grossing over $260 million at the worldwide box office and breaking records to become the best-selling concert film of all time.

The “Karma” singer will release her 11th studio album on April 19, Department for tortured poets. She announced its release during her acceptance speech for Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnight.

The singer-songwriter has a few weeks off before continuing the international leg of her Eras Tour in Paris on May 9.
