Relationships, husbands and children
Seema first met Sohail Khan at a private party of their mutual friends. They became friends and soon fell in love. In 1998, the couple got married secretly in a temple. When Sohail’s family got to know about his marriage, they welcomed Seema and the couple got married again as per the Arya Samaj wedding and then performed the Nikaah ceremony in the presence of their family members.

In 2017, Sohail Khan and Huma Qureshi were rumoured to be in a relationship and they reportedly met during the Celebrity Cricket League when Huma was the brand ambassador of Sohail Khan’s team ‘Mumbai Heroes’.
Talking about the whole thing, Seema said,
I don’t know how these rumours started. I was in Panvel and my kids and in-laws were there too. Honestly, I didn’t see Huma there, so I don’t know if she was there or not. The farmhouse is huge and there were over 500 guests there, so I didn’t see her. She is also a friend of my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. She is also the brand ambassador of CCL (Celebrity Cricket League, where Sohail Khan promotes the Mumbai team), but now I don’t think they (Sohail and Huma) will hang out.”
In the same year, there were rumors that Seema was living with Sohail Khan at her parents’ house. In 2020, netizens speculated that Seema and Sohail were living separately after watching the Netflix show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, which showcases the real lifestyles of celebrity wives. In the show, talking about her son, Seema said,

On May 13, 2022, Seema and Sohail filed for divorce in Mumbai after 24 years of marriage. The two divorced in December 2022. Seema later spoke about the incident in an interview and mentioned that she had to choose between her troubled marriage and her son’s happiness, and she prioritized her son and decided to divorce. She also mentioned that she received hate comments and concerns from her father after the divorce.
