Selena Gomez Brings Full Hollywood Glam to Rare Impact Fund Benefit: See Her Showstopping Look!

Selena Gomez brings Hollywood glamor to the red carpet!

The actress, 32, stunned at the Rare Impact Fund benefit at nya Studios West in Los Angeles on Thursday (October 24).

Gomez looked chic in a strapless black mini dress. One shoulder was exposed, while the other gave a layered off-the-shoulder effect.

A little foot was visible on that side, while the opposite side was covered by a wrinkled tow. Gomez kept it stylish with a pair of black loafers.

Her hair was styled in a wavy blunt frieze with a center parting.

While on the red carpet, the Disney alum spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about what the night means to her.

“This is probably the most important thing I do with my time, and it’s not just this event,” Gomez tells PEOPLE. “He keeps showing up to people every day. We’ve built a community with Rare and I’m very proud of that. We hope we’ve helped people feel less alone, and that’s all we’ve ever wanted to do.”

Gomez also revealed some “practices that I think are really helpful” when protecting her mental health.

“Try not to isolate yourself,” she begins. “I think it’s important to have moments alone, but when you isolate yourself, sometimes those feelings can just stay bottled up. And if you can find one person that you can trust and tell your heart to, that you can actually trust them with that information, it really helps just to share.”

The annual fundraiser sought to “raise awareness and funds to support youth mental health globally,” according to the Rare Impact Fund’s website. Donations from the event supported the organization in expanding access to mental health resources for young people.

Gomez started the Rare Impact Fund as the philanthropic arm of her mega brand Rare Beauty, and 1% of all Rare Beauty sales are donated to the Rare Impact Fund.

The actress stepped out in glamorous looks through herself Emilia Perez press tour. Two days before the benefit, she made a statement in an all-black outfit at the LA premiere of the musical thriller.

Her off-the-shoulder black Elie Saab dress fluttered across the floor in a little tow. The top featured an interlocking satin design, while the black taffeta skirt followed the silhouette of the sheath.

She dramatized her carpet look with black leather gloves and diamond earrings. The singer also wore a slicked-back bun and paired a dramatic grey-brown smokey eye with a matte nude lip.

During promotion Emilia Perez in London, Gomez was powerful in two daring red dresses. She wore a dramatic red Oscar de la Renta gown that fell just above the floor at the film’s BFI London Film Festival premiere on October 11.

The dress had a wide neckline and a bow at the waist.

Gomez wore an intricate silver choker and a high ponytail with the front pulled back to accentuate the bold look.

Later that day, she went out again in London, this time to the Ham Yard Hotel, for another screening of the film. She paired the same necklace and high pony with a more nighttime look – a red off-the-shoulder midi dress by Oscar de la Renta.

Earlier this month, Gomez teamed up with Sephora to donate 100 percent of Rare Beauty product sales to the Rare Impact Fund in the “Make a Rare Impact” campaign in honor of World Mental Health Day.

“We created the Rare Impact Fund before we created a single product, and it’s so rewarding to see that it’s a resource for people when they actually come into our community and ask for help. I’m really grateful. That’s why I’m doing this,” Gomez told PEOPLE.
