Serena Williams cherishes every little moment with her daughter Adira.
On Monday, the tennis ace (42) posted on Instagram an adorable photo of her 5-month-old daughter Adira sleeping on her chest in a sweet bonding moment between the two.
Williams is seen in the video, which she shared on her Instagram Story, sitting on the couch with baby Adira wrapped in a dressing gown as she fast asleep.
Earlier in the day, Williams opened up about embracing her postpartum body in a post.

“Loving yourself is important. I believe that I have to remind myself of this love for myself through all phases of my life,” she began in the description.
Along with a heartfelt message, Williams took to Instagram to share a photo of herself in a bikini with Adira on a boat.
“Right now, I love that my body isn’t perfect. I love smelling like milk — that milk is maintained by @adiraohanian I love getting to know a new version of my body,” she continued. “It’s a change, but it’s a change that’s really paid off.”
“So start this week knowing you are loved and that starts with you,” Williams concluded, adding, “Ok, I’m going to the gym now 🤪.”

Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian welcomed a new bundle of joy in August 2023. The couple are also parents to daughter Olympia, 6.
Last month, Williams documented her slow return to the gym on social media.
In an Instagram Reel posted on Jan. 26, the 23-time Grand Slam champion performed barbell squats with a lighter weight. “I’m getting back into the swing of things,” Williams said in the recording. “This is not my usual weight, but it will do until I get back to where I need to be,” she explained.
On January 12, Williams posted a video of her inner thigh workout on Instagram, and on December 30, she shared photos from an outdoor walk.

Williams retired from tennis in September 2022. During an episode of the PEOPLE Every Day podcast a few months later, the tennis icon shared that daughter Olympia is happy that she now has more free time with her.
“She wants to see for herself It’s me knowing that I should have free time and I need to spend more time with her,” Williams said at the time. “It’s funny … but it’s good because little kids really want to be with their parents. And I just feel lucky that he wants to be with me.”
