Police are believed to be treating their deaths as a murder-suicide, the Manchester Evening News reports.
It came after Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers were not “actively looking” for anyone else in connection with the investigation.
Officers also believe there are “no suspicious circumstances.”
Flowers and a teddy bear have been laid inside a cordon erected around the house as police continue their investigation.
It comes after neighbors paid their respects today.
Milana Kleina (37) said: “She was very tidy and looked after the house and I saw her cleaning all the time.
“I saw my mother sending her daughter to school in the morning. The bus was coming to pick her up.”
Milana added: “I just can’t understand what happened.
“I also have a 9-year-old son. It affected us all because this is usually such a quiet street – it’s really tragic.”
Detective Chief Inspector Charlotte Whalley, from Greater Manchester Police’s Major Incident Team, said: “My thoughts and those of the entire investigation team remain with the family of Martine and Eleni.

“It is such a tragic loss of life and our top priority is keeping their loved ones informed during the investigation.
“A cordon remains in place on Radford Street and will remain in place while officers work in the area.
“We know that our scene will cause some disruption in the local community, but it is so important that we do this that we need to be able to provide their loved ones with the information they need to process this news.
“We thank the public for their patience while we investigate and their sympathy as flowers can be seen outside the property, showing the amount of support the family has from members of the community.
“We are continuing to conduct a full and thorough investigation and are not actively seeking anyone else in connection with this case at this time.
“We believe there are no suspicious circumstances and we are working to complete the investigation and forward the file to the coroner.
A spokesman for Salford City Council said: “We are aware of the terribly sad news this morning and our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of those who have tragically lost their lives.
“We are working closely with GMP and assisting them with their ongoing investigation and our teams will be supporting both local residents and council staff who have no doubt been greatly affected by today’s events.”
