Coca-Cola Studios Pakistan said of the songs:
When Sethi created “Pasoori,” local performers were prohibited from working across the border. The song transforms anxiety into art, with lyrics “inspired by the need to celebrate artistic self-expression.” Fun fact: One of the lines was a quote Sisi saw in the back of a truck. “Pasoori” incorporates a variety of cultural influences, from reggae-style beats to the sounds of the classical instrument rubab. According to Siddiqui, the song is “a groundbreaking new hybrid of genres” and “one of the most contemporary songs of the season.” The sets in the music video were designed by Hashim Ali, who set out to create a public space where artists could celebrate humanity “not just through race, but through diversity of emotion, style and spirituality.”
