Shail Chaturvedi (1936 – 2007) was an Indian Hindi satirist, humorist, lyricist and poet. He appeared in several Bollywood movies and TV series like Uphaar (1971), Chitchor (1976), Chameli Ki Shaadi (1986), Kareeb (1998) etc.

He often appears in the annual Kavi Sammelan show that airs on Doordarshan every year during Holi. He has also appeared in a few Hindi films and TV series.
