The end is coming, it’s time to praise Shameless. The series has done a great job of being able to continue after more than a decade. While it lost some of its originality from the start, it’s still a great series as it’s still churning out new storylines in its final seasons. It also does a good job of portraying the real elements of relationships, both good and bad.
It has its fair share, but also a lot of missed opportunities, which are equally exciting. This is true of all series, of course. However, if they decide to put more characters together, both the main character and the supporting character, it could provide a lot of interesting moments.
sheila and kermit
Although Sheila will eventually have a happy ending in the episode, she faces a lot of challenges along the way. She had a terrible husband Eddie and was later used and manipulated by Frank.
It would be fun if she ended up with someone like Kermit. Sure, Kermit drinks a lot, but he seems to have a moral compass and a pretty good personality for the most part. If she stayed in the series, perhaps the relationship between the two would make sense.
frank and kate
Kate isn’t used much in the series, but she has a lot of fun. It would be interesting to watch a show that pairs her up with Frank because she works at a bar and is pretty tough. Due to this fact, it can be an interesting impetus to combine the two.
In this case, it’s possible that Frank was just using her to get drunk at the bar. Still, it can be fun to watch it unfold.
Sammi and Mikey
Sammi and Mikey never appeared together on the show, but they would make a great duo. Of course, Sammy is younger, but she shows that she is attracted to older men. Mikey, on the other hand, is hilarious and deserves a chance to date someone.
The combination of Sammi’s fierce attitude and Mikey’s carefree attitude can be a fun contrast to explore. It might end badly, but even that would be fun for the show.
fiona and robbery
Fiona will never be good enough to Mike because at that point in the series she can’t be faithful to anyone. So she’d better date her brother Robbie in the first place.
At this point in the show, Robbie is more of her class when it comes to decency. Of course, Fiona will show signs of real personality development as the series goes on, so their potential relationship will be short-lived, much like their love affair.
lips and estefania
It will be interesting to see Lip and Estefania develop a relationship. Apparently Estefania was attracted to Lip when she was on the show. Of course, she’s married to Jimmy, but maybe her character could return at a later date.
The only problem, of course, is Estefania’s father, as he is ruthless and a legitimate killer. The relationship shouldn’t come as a surprise, though, as the show isn’t afraid to make a big splash.
ian and tony
After initially taking an interest in Fiona, it is later revealed that Tony is actually gay. So it’s fitting to see him accompany Ian on the many times he broke up with Mitch.
Tony is definitely a nice guy, so he could be a good companion for Ian, but only temporarily. While the Gallaghers are usually not nice to the police, Ian gets along well with Tony because they both want to do good. Ian’s time as a paramedic fits Tony’s theme and career. Also, for Ian, a really good person is often left undiscovered.
eddie and ford
Eddie is Lip’s short-term love interest and Ford is Fiona’s cheating boyfriend. These two can be very interesting, as both have deep flaws and are hugely hated by audiences.
Given how low their morals are, it wouldn’t be too far fetched to find out that these two end up together. In fact, Eddie could easily be the woman Ford cheated on Fiona because that would be a believable move by the writers.
fiona and jody
Fiona has dated a lot of characters in previous seasons, so would it be a surprise if she ended up with Jody? A lot of her early love affairs were purely physical, and with Jody being such a handsome man, this is entirely possible.
Jody will end up with Sheila after Karen kicks him, but it’s understandable if Fiona steps in. Of course, Jimmy had to leave early for this to happen.
Monica and Clayton
When Ian found out Clayton was his biological father, it was a real blast. Clayton is also deeply attracted to Monica, even though he is married. However, it wouldn’t be surprising if the two ended up together.
It was a big challenge for Clayton to reject Monica’s advances in the series. It’s clear that he’s also interested in her personally, so there’s a fundamental relationship between the two. In the past, Monica has also shown that she’s not the most devoted date.
Kermit and tommy
Kermit and Tommy have been best friends throughout the series, but this latest season goes a step further. They connect amazingly while severely affected, but perhaps it can evolve into something more.
The two men were inseparable in the bar, so they forged a deep friendship. However, maybe after what happened, they were just cooking more. Their relationship will be one of the most surprising events of the entire show, but it will also be epic.
