Shaun White may have retired from competitive snowboarding, but he’s still showing off new moves, including one named after his girlfriend, Nina Dobrev.
The three-time Olympic gold medalist shared a new video on TikTok and Instagram showing off his latest snowboarding move.
In the video, White, 37, picks up Dobrev, 35, while he’s snowboarding and flips several times as they go down the slopes. White holds vampire Diaries alum at her feet as she floats her board in the air. White then performs a new move, which he calls the “Nina 900.”

After finishing “Nina 900”, he slowly places Dobrev back on the slope and the two snowboards side by side as the video ends.

Several fans commented on the snowboarder’s new move. “This is the most romantic thing I’ve ever seen 😂,” wrote one user.
“Feels like National Geographic snowboarders mating in the wild,” joked another user.
Others joked that the Olympian should bid for a move to an international multi-sport event. “A new sport for the Olympics!” added one user.
“This is amazing hahaha,” wrote Claudia Sulewski. “You and Finneas next 💯,” White replied, referring to the model’s boyfriend, Finneas O’Connell.

Ahead of the couple’s time in the snow, Dobrev joined PEOPLE at 10 and revealed that she and White alternate who plans their date nights. “We implemented something, I mean, it’s really cool,” she said. “We have an evening date every week and we take turns [planning].”
Dobrev explained that their weekly dates “keep things kind of exciting and interesting and make the time the two of us spend together.”

While Dobrev spent time on the ski slopes, White recently visited the actress while she was filming Mason in Greece.
“You know it’s interesting because during the Olympics and leading up to the Olympics he was traveling all over the world, trying to get to the mountains and train,” she explained.
“So for most of our relationship I traveled where he had to be, except during COVID when I was on break between jobs, so it was great that he supported me and went out where I was,” she added. Dobrev.
