Shauna Rae opens about being implanted in abuse during her late teenage years.
During the performance on Wednesday, January 29 Unplanned podcastRae, 25 years old, is honest for the abuse she was going out with when she had “17, 18.” She did not reveal the identity of the former partner.
The topic of the conversation appeared after Rae discussed that her boundaries of socializing include “cheating, physical violence, even if she is just like you are angry and push me.”

“It started with the physical grabbing of the wrist, and then, angry with the video game and I go to the couch, which I, like, right next to. And then the next thing I know if it was to escalate it into a grab,” she said.
“And the next thing they know, they don’t take anger on the couch. They pull it on you,” Rae continued, noting that her ex is supposedly hitting her.
The former TLC star said she felt “very used to being in violent situations at the time, because the public neglected me a lot” and eventually “dated from the wrong guy”.

She shared that her parents found out “he was a terrible person” the day they broke up after their romance. As for when she knew it was time to leave the relationship, Rae said it happened after he started sending her “text threats”.

Rae expressed that she wanted her to go first to her family and friends and warned others not to be allowed to “break” if they were in a similar situation.
“Don’t let people cut off you from you. Don’t let them tell you you are less than,” Rae said. “Once you start to hear everything you don’t up to you because your relationship should make you a better version of yourself, and if it doesn’t, then you really should leave.”
“But if he starts reaching the point where the other person is emotionally, physically, in any way scared, you start talking to someone and start learning to walk,” she added.
The former reality star is now in a romance with a new partner, with whom she marked their second anniversary in November. His identity remains private.
