Shay Mitchell Gets Roped into ‘Cowboy Copper’ Hair Trend — And Her Auburn Hue Cost Just $12

It’s been a year of wild beauty trends — from latte makeup to cinnamon-butter cookie hair.

And while “Cowboy Copper” hair has become increasingly popular in recent months, Shay Mitchell just signed off on the color with a bold new look.

On Tuesday, celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos revealed on Instagram that he had transformed the actress’ brown hair into a beautiful shade of auburn.

In the picture, Sweet little liars star, 36, has voluminous waves alongside the caption ‘Copper Cowboy’.

The professional achieved striking color with L’Oréal Paris Superior Preference hair color in shade 6R.

Mitchell’s makeup artist Ash K Holm created glossy copper lips and dark brown smokey eyes to compliment the look.

Giannetos’ clientele includes everyone from Amal Clooney and Ciara to Gigi Hadid and Megan Fox, who often team up with the expert for major transformations (see: her hot hair from her Nice guys are toxic book tour).

Mitchell isn’t the only star sporting a red mane this season.

Earlier this month, Emma Stone decided to switch blonde (her natural hair color) to red just in time for her big night out at the New York premiere of her new film, Poor people.

Stone’s hairstylist Mara Roszak styled her freshly dyed hair into a “youthful, chic and casual” updo inspired by Stone’s character, as well as her exquisite Louis Vuitton flower-embellished necklace. (The pro used her RŌZ Foundation shampoo, conditioner and hair milk to create the effortless look.)

The vibrant color stood out against Stone’s custom sheer yellow embellished dress, also created by the label.
