Meet the moon! Her body is full of fleas and ticks. Moon is only 2 months old and is another victim of neglect and abuse. She lived in fear on the streets for days.
One night, she was looking for food when Au Family abrigo Levies brought her up. Her condition is very bad, all 4 legs are swollen, Moon is in pain and cries a lot.
They took her to their clinic so she could get the medical care she needed. Warhorse says she will likely need a blood transfusion.
After all, Moon will sleep peacefully, easily in a warm and clean place, but her health condition is very serious due to anemia and deep dehydration.
The moon is negative for chino and parvo, which used to be great news.
After four days at the abrigo Au Family clinic and so far, she remains mentally strong and the managers believe she will last until the end of the transfusion.
Nearly a month later, Moon has made positive changes but will still stay at Warhorse for treatment. Her health is improving day by day.
