Sheila Hancock News

Dame Sheila Hancock says she is “heartbroken” about the loss of her wedding rings. The 90-year-old actress wore four rings on a chain around her neck, including bands from her marriages to the late John Thaw and Alec Ross and rings that belonged to her parents, to keep her favourite jewellery close to her heart. However, Sheila lost the rings on a night out in central London last week, and she has since launched a campaign to seek assistance.

Dame Sheila Hancock said, “I don’t wear jewels as such, do you know what I mean, during an appearance on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Monday, July 23. I wear a watch because it’s practical, but this particular one had my mother’s wedding ring as well as my father’s signet ring, which is the only memento I have of him. since he had nothing else to call his own.

“And my first husband who died, and John who also died,” Dame Sheila Hancock continued. And a tiny cross that we purchased in Egypt. I also bring it with me. Even though it’s kind of emotional crap, I keep it with me for important occasions and the such. It might be exposed or hidden below my clothes.

Sheila continued, “I’m hoping someone may have found it on the street. I last wore it during a night out at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London’s West End.”

I don’t know how I lost it, she continued. I saw this fantastic play called “Accidental Death of an Anarchist,” went to the after-show party, and was photographed wearing it. When I got home, I watched some CCTV, and although I couldn’t quite make it out, it appeared as though I might have dropped it while walking to the car.

“The thing that worries me is that you bring it to the police and they don’t do lost and found anymore,” Dame Sheila Hancock said in her closing remarks. They don’t have time. What do you do if someone has it or if someone discovers anything similar?

“Back then, you’d either stop the cop on the beat or take it to the police station. All police stations are currently closed. In that case, you cannot.

I feel like someone picked it up and placed it in their pocket somewhere, thinking, “This is obviously some sentimental thing, what can I do with it?”
