Shereé Whitfield Was All Smiles Despite Suddenly Being in a Wheelchair on the Final Day of BravoCon 2023

Shereé Whitfield had a new accessory at BravoCon 2023 on Sunday — a wheelchair!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 53, injured himself on the final day of the third annual Bravo fan convention and had to roll backstage between panels and appearances at the Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.

Whitfield’s friend and Traitors Costar Tamra Judge shared a video on Instagram of herself playfully driving a smiling Whitfield on the last day of the weekend.

“Who will push her?” The judge, 56, captioned the post with a reference to one of Whitfield’s iconic lines from RHO.

Later in the evening, Whitfield appeared at the Paris Theater for a taping of BravoCon Live’s “Reading Room,” hosted by Andy Cohen and scheduled to air Wednesday night on the network.

As her fellow “Shade Assassins” in the episode came out together and lined up in front of the stage for the episode’s dramatic opening, Whitfield was carted off as everyone took their seats until the cameras rolled.

“I had a little fight with the golf cart,” Whitfield later told the audience when asked about it by a fan during the after show. “I injured my foot. But I wanted to be here because you guys have been so supportive.”

A source close to Whitfield confirmed to PEOPLE that the star injured his foot earlier in the day by stubbing his toe. “She was just uncomfortable walking around the convention center and at the show in heels,” says the insider. – But it will be fine.

Despite the injury, Whitfield seemed in good spirits. She even got up and limped across the stage towards The Real Housewives of Dubai star Lesa Milan, during a playful back-and-forth.

It’s not the first time RHO peach had to limp through a weekend full of reality stars — 2019 Porsha Williams surprised fans by arriving in a wheelchair with a boot on her leg. A source told PEOPLE at the time that the reality star was recovering from foot surgery.

Ahead of the event, Williams (who has since taken the last name Guobadia after marrying Simon Guobadia last November) posted a photo of the boot on her Instagram Story, writing: “Man I’m going to look crazy and helpless tomorrow at # Bravocon.”
