During her training for the Miss South India beauty pageant, many fashion designers told her that she would be best suited to become an international model. Later, she was summoned by the Times of India’s Mumbai office to audition for the role of Indian supermodel Grazia Ford. She declined the offer as she was not willing to move to Mumbai. Later, when TOI officials arranged accommodation for her, she traveled to Mumbai to compete. She then became the winner of India’s Grazia Ford Next Top Model contest.

She was then selected to represent India in the International Ford Supermodel of the World beauty pageant held in Montenegro, Europe. She is one of the top 10 contestants in the beauty pageant. Soon after returning to India from Europe, she started receiving offers for print ads. Sheriina subsequently appeared in print advertisements for various popular brands such as The Chennai Silks, Malabar Gold and Diamonds, GV Mills, Swatcha Neelu and Fashion Equation.

She has also walked for many famous fashion designers at fashion shows such as Kingfisher Kochi International Fashion Week, Kingfisher Chennai International Fashion Week, and India Luxury Fashion Week.

Sam has acted in several South Indian films such as Nippu (Telugu; 2012) and Vyuha (Kannada; 2016). Later, when she collaborated with Indian actor-director Samuthirakani for a commercial, the director offered her a role in the Tamil film Vinodhaya Sitham. The film will be released on the OTT platform Zee5 in 2021.
