Sherin Celin Mathew was born in 1996 (age 26 at the time of death). She hails from Alappuzha district in Kerala. She goes to school at ST. She graduated from St. Joseph’s High School, Purinkunnu and later from Srinivas College of Physiotherapy, Pandeshwar, Mangaluru, Karnataka. After completing her studies, she moved to Chakkaraparambu in Edappali, Kerala.

Sherin Celin Mathew was found dead on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in her rented apartment in Chakkaraparambu, Edapalli, Kerala. Schelling’s body was reportedly found hanging from a ceiling fan. The police have registered a case of unnatural death and prima facie evidence suggests it was suicide. Her cellphone camera was on when officers found the body, indicating Sherin was on a video call with someone when she hanged herself, police reports said. According to some media reports, Shailene suffered from depression due to some disagreements with some friends.
