He attacks the school bus driver, who is wearing a blue t-shirt, as confused pupils at Thorpe St Andrew’s High School watch from the bus.
The man in the gray shirt trips and gets pinned by the school bus.
One student could be heard saying: “To be fair, the other guy got ahead of him.”
The other boys laughed and were heard to shout “they’ve got a scrap”, “he’s going to get fired” and “oh my god he’s got him”.
The bus driver manages to knock the other driver to the ground and at one point appears to help him back up.
But as the car driver gets up, he continues to insult the bus driver.
Victim pleads with her attacker: “I’ve got a bus full of kids.”
The fight broke out on the A47 near Brundall on June 4.
Appearing at Norwich Crown Court on Tuesday earlier this week, driver Keith Howard, of Bridle Close, Hemsby, was sentenced after pleading guilty to assault.
The 62-year-old was fined £275 and ordered to pay £500 compensation to the victim.
A Norfolk Police spokesman said earlier: “Police were called to reports of an argument between two men on the A47 near the Brundall roundabout on Tuesday afternoon 4 June 2004.
“The bus driver and the driver of a gray van took part in the incident, who verbally and then physically clashed, which happened around 3:30 p.m.
“The road was briefly blocked during the incident.” The incident is currently under investigation.
A spokesman for Thorpe St Andrew High said earlier: “The incident took place on a local authority-run home-to-school transport route.
“They are investigating the incident and will cooperate with the police.
“We will support their investigation as necessary and seek assurances from local authorities that such an incident will not happen again.
“As this is an ongoing police investigation, we will not be commenting further.”
