The field with a capacity of 80,372 was one of the most famous arenas in its region.
However, in 2020, the stadium was judged to be structurally unsafe for spectators.
The stadium was spectacularly demolished in the moment captured by the camera.
The video shows the ground roof collapsing onto the seats below and onto the lawn.
The stadium hosted Arsenal and Chelsea during the 2011 Asian Tour and was bigger than the Emirates and Stamford Bridge.
It was opened in 1994 and was the home of Malaysian football club Selangor.
In the first tournament, Dundee United drew 1-1 against a Selangor XI, which included former Liverpool goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar.
Dundee’s Billy McKinlay scored the first goal at the stadium, shooting past Grobbelaar.

The completion of the dismantling of the field is expected by the end of the year.
The stadium will be replaced by a more modern version that will be completed by 2029.
The new stadium will have a retractable roof, indoor humidity control and an ‘event mode’ for live music performances.
However, the stadium will be almost half the size, and the capacity is expected to be between 35,000 and 45,000.
