Ms Hopkin, 53, who works with pupils with special needs, was stabbed four times.
Drama and Welsh teacher Mrs Elias, who is head of class, was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the neck.
Jurors at Swansea Crown Court were shown CCTV footage showing the 14-year-old defendant with a knife.
The student appeared in court today while the video was shown.
It shows him attacking Ms Elias as Ms Hopkin bravely tries to hold her back, before being stabbed in the neck.
The accused, who cannot be named for legal reasons, then injured another student before staff members were able to restrain her.
An edited version of the CCTV footage was released by the Crown Prosecution Service.
It shows the accused fighting with the teachers just before and after she attacked them.
Before the horror, the student enters the corridor of the lower school where she sits behind the curtain next to the stage for about half an hour.
Here, the cameras capture her stabbing the floor with a knife – the same weapon she was attacked with.
She later returns to the hall to join her friends before Mrs. Elias walks in and tells her to leave because she didn’t have permission to be there.
The girl goes into the hall to continue her conversation with Miss Elias, following her before returning to the hall.
She then revealed the knife to the other students and shared a can of drink with the boy before going outside after Miss Elias.
She first walked past the teacher, who was talking to Mrs Hopkin, before turning to speak to the couple.
She talked for about two minutes with her hands in her pockets before pulling out a knife.

Darrel Campbell disarmed the teenager during the attack
She attacked Ms Elias at around 11.17am and Ms Hopkin tried to restrain her before she was stabbed in the leg.
While Ms Elias managed to escape, Ms Hopkin was stabbed once in the neck and then in the back.
The teacher rushed off and fellow staff members Steven Hagget and Darrel Campbell tried to calm the teenager down.
But then she approached another group of students, yelled at one girl and ran towards her before stabbing her.
Mr Campbell can then be seen restraining the girl.
The defendant previously accepted charges of wounding with intent and possession of a sharp object on school premises, but denied attempted murder.
Prosecutor William Hughes KS previously told the court Ms Hopkin suffered the most brutal injuries after being stabbed in the neck, knee, lower leg, chest and below the shoulder blade.
She was flown to Cardiff by air ambulance.
Meanwhile, Ms Elias and the student were taken to Swansea Hospital, where they were also treated for stab wounds.
All three victims have now been released from hospital after suffering non-life threatening injuries.
The trial continues on Monday.
