The disturbing images show one bandit grabbing a deer’s antlers while two others look on and laugh.
More photos, taken by horrified witness Chris Golightly, show the shameless hooligans cheering as they harass the deer and slap it on the back.
The hooded sweatshirt and sweatshirt fled the scene before park rangers could catch them.
Chris estimated that there were about seven people in the disgraced group.
The wildlife photographer, in her 60s, said: “I went to the park to photograph a deer, as I always do, and I could see the deer sitting alone in the distance with people approaching it.
“I saw a group of seven men, but three settled right next to the door.
“They grabbed his horns, hit his head and slapped the deer on the backside.
“I was too far away to intervene so I hurried to find the guard to show them my pictures.
“They went after the men, but they ran away.
“I was horrified by their shocking behavior.
“It is bullying and an act of cruelty.”
Nottinghamshire Police have launched an investigation into the shocking scenes.
The police also issued a new appeal urging citizens to avoid getting too close to the animals.
Langbein Wildlife posted on social media: “Reckless cruelty to deer at Wollaton Park, Nottingham.
“Very sad to see, but thanks to one of our members Chris Golightly for pointing this out, in the hope of deterring others from getting so ridiculously close to deer.

“Deer, exhausted from a long run, will often rest quietly in parks at this time because they are too tired to move at any human approach, and the last thing they need is to be wantonly disturbed.”
Wollaton Park includes a deer park and Wollaton Hall, an Elizabethan house that houses the Nottingham Natural History Museum.
It came after another attack in February last year, in which a deer pinned a youngster to the floor.
A walker was seriously injured by its deadly antlers after a deer had “had enough” in Wollaton Park.
The horrifying footage, re-recorded by Chris, shows the man, dressed in a black puffer coat and black sweatpants, desperately trying to fend off the attack by grabbing onto the deer’s antlers.
He wrestled with the animal until it drove it into the ground with all its might, and then pushed its horns straight into its thighs.
“This poor deer has had enough,” she told the Mail.
Wollaton Hall and Deer Park, which covers 500 hectares, is home to two herds of 210 wild deer.
It is one of Nottingham’s most popular attractions, with thousands of visitors every month.
Deer attacks on humans are generally rare, according to The British Deer Society, which states that the relatively docile creatures often avoid humans.
Meanwhile, a dog walker was previously branded “irresponsible” after he was forced to run for his life to escape a rabid deer in a Richmond park.
The video showed the man letting his dog, which was allowed to run off-leash, to scold deer in Bushy Park.
And the Met police were forced to release a picture of a woman who was attacked by a deer after she tried to take a close-up photo with the wild animal.
Cops have warned Londoners that deer are “not like Bambi” alongside a photo of a lady being booted from behind by the animal.
