Shubham Gupta was born on Wednesday, August 11, 1993 (28 years old; as of 2021). His zodiac sign is Leo. He held a primary school in Jaipur. After Shubham completed Level 7, his family moved to Dahanu Road, a small village in Maharashtra due to economic restrictions. He then joined Chala of Vapi, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul of Chala, from which he completed his Level 12 (2012).

While at school, Shubum used to help his father in a shoe store in Maharashtra after attending school. After completing his 12th grade, he moved to Delhi and wanted to receive further education from the Shri Ram Business School in Delhi. However, he was unable to enter the school. He pursued BA (Honors) in Economics (2012-2015) at the Delhi School of Arts and Business. He has since pursued a Master’s Degree in Economics from the School of Arts and Business, Delhi University (2015-2017).

Shubham first tried the UPSC exam in 2015, but was unable to clear the preliminary exam. In 2016, he tried again and was able to clear all three exams – preliminaries, main courses and interviews. He was awarded Level 366 and was served by Indian audit and account services. However, he was not satisfied with his ranking and while he was still in training, Shubum took the exam again in 2017 but failed. In 2018, Shubham made his fourth test attempt and obtained the All India Level (AIR) 6.

He completed his training in December 2018. He then worked as an assistant accountant in Jaipur, Rajasthan from December 2018 to August 2019. Shubham earned AIR 6 in his fourth attempt at the UPSC exam and became a 2019 batch of IAS officer Maharashtra cadre.

In August 2019, he joined the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie served as an official and was later appointed as an assistant collector in May 2020 in Nashik (Maharashtra Government).

I am the fifth standard. My father came to me and said he wanted me to become a collector one day. So, I asked him “Who is the collector?” That incident made a great impression in my mind and when I reached the 11th standard, I realized that this desire to become an IAS official would help me achieve my goals. ”
- As a teenager, his family moved to a small village in Maharashtra. At that time, there was no Hindi or English secondary school in his village. Since he was new in Maharashtra, he found it very difficult to study in Marathi school. So his father recruited Shubham and his sister, who were far from their place at Chala, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul of Chala, Vapi. Shubham and his sister once boarded the train to their school and returned home.
- Shubum has been a hardworking person since childhood and never compromises in his studies. Even when he was in school he took care of his father’s shop, Shubum once brought books to the shop and studied in his spare time.
- After Gupta scored well in his Level 10 exam, his friends and teachers suggested that he pursue science further. However, he was interested in business and decided to pursue it.
- His role model is his father. Shubum said that speaking of his father’s father said,
My role model is my father because he struggled a lot throughout his life. He faces financial tightening and hits the base many times, but he manages to recover and brings balance to our lives. His “never speaks out” really inspired me. ”
