Siddhant Chaturvedi is a model, actor and writer. He came into the spotlight for his work in the web series “Inside Edge.” He became a household name for his role as MC Sher in the 2019 Bollywood musical film Gully Boy.

Siddhant Chaturvedi was born on April 29, 1993 in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh (age 26 in 2019), son of a chartered accountant. His mother is a housewife. He loved acting since he was a child and moved to Mumbai with his family when he was 5 years old. He received his bachelor’s degree in commerce from Mithibai College, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
He stated in an interview that before becoming an actor, he wanted to become a chartered accountant; just like his father. Siddhanth won the title of “Bombay Times Fresh Face 2012” when he was in college; after that he decided to pursue modeling as a career. He is also trained in martial arts and Western classical dance.

When asked about his journey in Bollywood, Siddhant replied:
I struggled for six years and there were a lot of rejections and lows along the way. I started at the bottom. But I always had a strong ambition to go out and use this great opportunity to prove myself. I always think “ki apna time kab ayega”. Luckily, Zoya had been looking for MC Sher for a year and I happened to appear at the right time. “

Profession
Siddhant started his career as a model. Later, he appeared in some television commercials. Thereafter, he joined a theater troupe in Mumbai and acted in several plays. He not only acted in plays but also wrote dialogues.
It was during one of his plays that film director Luv Ranjan noticed him and invited him to play the role of ‘Sahil Hooda’ in the TV series Life Sahi Hai. However, he came into the limelight after starring in Excel’s Amazon Prime web series “Inside Edge.”
