Olivia Lynes’ mother has penned a heartfelt letter to Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, thrusting her 11-year-old daughter into the spotlight.
Despite Olivia’s nerves, she bravely performed Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth’s “Defying Gravity,” wowing the audience with her extraordinary voice.
In the middle of the song, the audience rose to their feet in amazement, and the two judges were moved to tears. Amanda Holden sealed Olivia’s fate by hitting the golden buzzer, sending her straight to the live shows.
The emotional moment had viewers reaching for tissues as Amanda hugged Olivia on stage.
