Simone Biles’ Husband Surprises Her with Designer Bags After She Was ‘Crying All Day’

Jonathan Owens surprised his wife, Simone Biles, with a little retail therapy.

On Friday, the Olympic gold medalist, 26, shared two Instagram stories praising her husband for his generosity.

The first Instagram Story included two new designer bags, one from Gucci and one from Yves Saint Laurent, along with a small box on a YSL shopping bag.

“I cry all day……” Biles wrote in the post. “So he surprised me 🥺.”

“He’s the best 🤍🤎🙌🏾🥺 @jowens.”

In the next Story, the NFL player, 28, was photographed holding Biles’ hand as she clutched her new Gucci handbag. The Olympian showed off her new Diana Mini Tote bag in caramel and ebony, which retails for $4,200.

“😍😍🥺🥺🤭🤭”, added the gymnast in the lower right corner of the second Story. Biles previously did not clarify what made her cry.

The Green Bay Packers safety recently returned home to Biles after his team lost to the San Francisco 49ers during a back-to-back game on January 20th.

At a game in January, Biles re-shared a photo of the pair kissing at his game on Instagram. She then reposted snaps of the two from Owen’s Instagram story.

“My love,” the football strong safety wrote over a picture of the two with arms outstretched to embrace on the football field.

Biles also wrote a sweet note to Owens after his impressive season. “It’s been a terrible season and there’s so much to be proud of,” she wrote on Instagram. “I’m so proud of the work you’ve put in and the confidence you exude through your games.”

She turned to her husband: “I love you Jonathan! another football season happy and healthy in the books 🤞🏾.”

Simone Biles’ Husband Jonathan Owens Praises Her in Game Day Fit Post: ‘My Baby’

The couple, who got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2022, first tied the knot in a civil ceremony in Houston, followed by a May 2023 wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Months after their wedding in October 2023, Biles shared that marrying Owens completely changed her outlook on life.

“Gymnastics is just something I come to and have the privilege of doing,” she said on Today show. “I no longer feel like everything is over, like I used to feel like that before. I’m going home to my husband, my dogs, my house and all the other stuff. So it feels really good.”
