Simone Biles Reacts to Husband Jonathan Owens Being Named One of PEOPLE’s Sexiest Athletes: ‘He’s Mine!’

Simone Biles wants everyone to know that Jonathan Owens is hers!

On Monday, the professional gymnast, 26, responded to PEOPLE naming her NFL player husband one of the 21 sexiest men in sports on her Instagram Story. Biles posted a screenshot of the article’s headline next to a section about Owens, a safety for the Green Bay Packers.

She expressed her admiration for Owens, 28, by tagging his account and adding an overheated face and a white heart emoji.

“Easier people… He’s mine,” the four-time Olympic gold medalist jokingly wrote on the post. “But he’s hot!!!!!!”

Biles and Owens tied the knot in a Texas courthouse wedding in April before tying the knot again in Cabo San Lucas a month later.

Since then, the couple has been in a long-distance marriage after Owens — who played for their hometown of Houston, Texas when they met — signed with the Green Bay Packers in May.

The couple recently celebrated the holidays in Green Bay, dressing up in matching Halloween costumes and even posing for an adorable fall photo in early November.

Simone Biles Celebrates Husband Jonathan Owens’ NFL Game With Sweet ‘Game Day’ Tribute

In October, Biles opened up on Today they show how her view of gymnastics has changed since she got married.

“Gymnastics is something I come to and have the privilege of doing. I don’t feel like if it’s over, everything would be all, like I used to feel like that,” Biles explained at the time. “I have to go home to my husband, my dogs, my house and everything else. So it feels really good.”

“It was a lot of fun to support what he loves to do,” she added. “Obviously he’s in Green Bay right now so my season just ended. I’m super excited to go down there to Green Bay for the holidays to support him.”

In the same interview, Biles also said she would try to meet Taylor Swift if the singer is at Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Packers on Dec. 3. Today host Hoda Kotb brought it up, telling the Olympian, “I’d love to see you and Taylor. It would be very sweet, it would be a nice photo.”

Biles replied, “Actually want go to that game!”

“Let’s try to hang in there for a second if we can, OK?” Kotb suggested, to which Biles nodded and said “yeah, OK…that’ll do.”
