Simone Biles scores on and off the mat.
The gymnast, 27, posted a photo on Instagram Stories showing off her latest manicure, a fun take on the chrome nail trend.
In a mirror selfie shared on Sept. 17, Biles holds up her phone (which features a purse emblazoned with a bedazzled “Biles”), giving fans a close-up look at her new blonde locks, as well as her almond-pink French tips. The manicure also features a shimmering chrome top coat, creating an eye-catching metallic finish.
While chrome manicures have been around for years, the nail trend was revived when Hailey Bieber’s “glazed donut nails” went viral. The model and founder of Rhoda first caused a frenzy at the 2022 Met Gala, where she wore a Saint Laurent cream silk gown and a white feathered cape.
Bieber’s nail artist Zola Ganzorigt has since created several versions of the trend, including chocolate-glazed nails and neon yellow chrome.

Included in Biles’ selfie is her pink-brimmed hat and iconic goat necklace. The glittering 3D piece, which refers to her being called the GOAT (or Greatest of All Time) of gymnastics, was created by Janet Heller Fine Jewelry and features a whopping 546 diamonds.
Biles debuted the necklace after winning the all-around final at the 2024 Paris Olympics, holding it up to show off to the cameras.

After the competition, she talked about making jewelry to order.
“My goat necklace is just kind of an ode, because people love it and then some people hate it, so it’s like the best of both worlds. And I said, okay, if it goes well, I’ll wear the goat necklace, I know it will people go crazy for her,” Biles told reporters, including PEOPLE, at a press conference. “But at the end of the day, it’s crazy that I’m in the conversation with the greatest athletes of all time, because I still think I’m Simone Biles from Spring, Texas, who likes to flip.”
