Simone Biles’ new home with her husband Jonathan Owens is getting closer to completion!
On Saturday, the 26-year-old Olympic gold medalist gave an update on the progress of the home she and husband Owens, 26, built in Texas, sharing photos and clips on her Instagram Story showing the exterior, kitchen and huge entry room. locker.
An Instagram Story photo captioned “home news” shows the front of Biles’ new home with scaffolding in place and large boxes labeled “cultured rock” laid out on the ground outside.
“Stucco is happening 🤯👏🏾😍,” Biles added in the caption, referring to the cement mixture that is applied to the exterior of a home.

The next shot showed the process of laying stone for an exterior wall, while one side of Biles’ home was pictured partially covered in construction material.
“This stone is EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!” wrote the athlete in reaction to the walls in another caption.
Biles also revealed her new kitchen in a follow-up shot, which shows the space with built-in wood cabinets and an unpainted ceiling and walls. In addition to close-ups of the kitchen, the gymnast also posted a wider shot that shows the kitchen is in a much larger space with high ceilings, possibly the dining room.
Finally, Biles showed off what would be her walk-in closet in her home in a shot of a large room with an open closet and plenty of storage, including drawers, shelves and areas that looked like they would be used to hang clothes.

“I. A.M. OBSESSED,” the sports champ said of her upcoming new room. “I will never run out of room for clothes,” she added.
Biles’ house news comes after she celebrated progress on her house with a series of posts in December. At the time, Biles posted more construction photos of the beginnings of a laundry room with sliding glass doors and drywall at the construction site.
The project update came after she hinted at renovation problems on social media a month ago.
In November, Biles revealed on her Instagram Story that a 30-minute drive home ended up taking six hours. “I thought it would last 30 minutes before I had no idea what I was getting into,” she explained in one posted video of the home’s high ceilings.

“Yesterday I called my dad for backup before I panicked! but I’ve made so much progress and I’m so proud of myself,” Biles continued. “Jonathan will deal with the bottom line oops……..hope I did it decently and thought everything through.”
Despite their previous struggles, Biles’ latest update seems to indicate that her and Owens’ new home is on track for a successful completion.
