SIR David Jason was left speechless as Jay Blades told him to ‘make one’ and ran off camera after a series of digs during an episode of David and Jay’s Touring Toolshed.
The BBC show features Sir David Jason and the host of The Repair Shop as they travel the country with a mobile tool shop.

In the last episode, Jay became the target of Sir David’s relentless teasing.
The whole situation unfolded when Jay found himself enrolled in a barrel-making course, but Sir David couldn’t resist mocking Jay’s attempts at barrel-making as he watched.
The Only Fool and the Horse actor teased: “Just remember we don’t have three days for this program…”
Jay playfully retorted, “No, he won’t come in! Listen, less talking here, okay?”

But Sir David couldn’t help messing with Jay, taunting him, saying, “You should have been down with your pipe rings by now.”
The professional barrel maker then had to step in and help Jay out, prompting Sir David to tease him even more.
“Oh, you have the help of a professional,” the actor said.
After the barrel was finished, Sir David called it “wobbly” and told Jay to “pick it up”.
He chimed in with his two cents again, telling Jay to make sure he used his thumb to keep the item sturdy.
The Repair Shop manager then retorted, “I’ll tell you where I’m going to put my thumb in a minute if you don’t stop talking.”
The barrel expert gave Jay a four out of 10 for his effort.
Jay then playfully threw off his apron and told the pundit and Sir David that he had had enough of their teasing.
“You two can do one, I’ve had enough. I’ve had enough,” Jay joked as he pretended to storm off camera.
As soon as Jay left, Sir David said: “To be honest, he didn’t do too badly, did he?”
