The Brown family reflects on how they failed each other after the breakup of their plural marriage.

In a teaser shared exclusively with PEOPLE before Sunday Sister Wives: Look back In particular, the family reacts to their happier days as an extended family as they watch their 2013 commitment celebration.

Reliving these memories becomes too much for Robyn Brown, who tearfully declares that she “can’t watch this” and leaves the set asking for “a break”.

As the rest of the family continues to look back on their special day, Janelle Brown can be heard promising to “teach, allow and promote the value of making conscious and responsible choices,” and Robyn vows that the family will “embrace each other in a vow of eternal nature.” ”

After Christine says she has to “decide every day whether I’m going to be a good sister or a bad sister today,” the video ends, with Meri Brown admitting that she’s “so mad at us, every single one of us.”

“We scheduled it ourselves,” she adds with a wistful smile.

Despite their flaws and Christine’s decision to leave multiple marriages behind, the mum-of-six explains that she “decided” to keep it sacred and calls their vows ceremony “one of those days that was special”.

“I felt like I was so inspired. We just weren’t able to stick with it, I guess,” Kody adds. – There was simply not enough loyalty in the family.

Meri continues: “What is it that they say, should you accept your mission? We have not chosen to accept it. It’s heartbreaking for me.”

Three of Kody’s marriages fell apart within 14 months. Christine was the first to leave in November 2021. A year later, in December 2022, it was revealed that he had divorced Janelle. A month after that, his broken union with Meri was confirmed in January after years of being platonic and distant. Robyn is his only wife left.

Christine found love again and announced her relationship with David Woolley on Valentine’s Day 2023. The couple tied the knot in October surrounded by friends and family, including Janelle.

Although the family has gone their separate ways, Robyn previously told PEOPLE that she hopes they can reconcile one day.

“It seems a little different,” she said of the family’s current dynamic. “I certainly hope it’s possible, but I can’t have expectations. I can’t expect from people, I understand more and more, as far as family and that connection and spending time together and things and operational types of families. So I hope and I pray that it is possible, but it will be a situation where everyone will have to choose it. So I don’t know.”
