In a PEOPLE sneak peek of Sunday’s episode of the hit TLC series, Christine Brown admits she found it “frustrating” to go out in public after her split with ex Kody Brown
Christine Brown is making her first appearance on the dating scene.
In PEOPLE’s sneak peek of Sunday’s episode Sister wivesChristine, 51, admits she “never dated anyone” before her relationship with ex Kody Brown, adding that he “was the first guy I kissed and that was after we got married.”
During her daughter’s farewell dinner, Ysabel admits, “I think dating sounds like fun. It was frustrating. But it’s not like I go out that much. And how can I be so public?”

Her son-in-law Antonio “Tony” Padron, who is married to Mykelti Brown Padron, responds: “What if you have a profile where you just don’t use ‘Christine’? You just go by, like, a nickname. I’m just saying that you could go by ‘Tina’ on your profile.”
He adds, “You could put it out there and then if you ever liked someone enough, you could say, ‘By the way, that’s me over there.’ My name is Christine.”
Mitch Thompson, who is married to Christine’s daughter Aspyn Brown, also agrees, saying: “I would be concerned about the kind of people you’re dealing with.”

Mitch then says she could try the Farmers Only dating site, and Tony points out, “You like farmers.”
In the confessional, Christine details what she really looks like after the divorce, saying, “I’m not interested in casual relationships. I don’t want to do that.”
She told her family she was in no rush to find a new partner, adding: “I really like the idea of being in a loving romantic relationship. But I also really like the way my life is now.”
Tony then encouraged Christine to “fish” and “get back in the game”, while Mykelti told her to “dip her toes in the pond”.
Christine knows she should take her children’s advice, saying, “I know you’re right, and I didn’t do it [that]. I didn’t expose myself.”
“It’s scary. I’m entering the world of dating at 50. Everyone comes with a past,” he adds in the confessional. “Everybody comes with a history, and mine is really complicated.”

Back in August 2022, Christine revealed to PEOPLE how she was going to find love after announcing that her spiritual marriage to Kody was over.
“I would love to date. I like the idea of eventually having a romantic partner,” she said. “But I was talking to True the other day about it and she said, ‘Mom, I really like our life the way it is now. ‘ Down the road. I’ll just let fate take care of it.”
“I want a guy who really loves me and wants to be intimate with me,” she added. “From now on I will be monogamous.”
Christine married fiance David Woolley, who first met on the dating website 2022, last month.
“It’s a fairy tale,” Brown told PEOPLE. “That’s all I thought I’d have. I go to the altar to David, he just looks at me the way he does, it’s a dream come true.”
