Sister Wives' Meri Brown Gives Rare Update on Child Leon as They've 'Made a Decision to Not Be Super Public' (Exclusive)

Meri Brown shares rare news about her child, Leon Brown.

“They, by their choice, made the decision not to be super public,” Meri, 53, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “So I don’t talk about them that much.”

The business woman says about Leon (29) that “people find out about them whatever they want to put on social networks”.

– We often talk – adds Meri. – They are doing well.

Leon is Mera’s only child with her now ex-husband Kody Brown. In June 2022, they announced they were transgender — and Meri shared a message of support at the time, saying, “You are my sunshine.”

Leon posts on social media from time to time. They are in a long-term relationship with their partner Audrey Kriss. The couple got engaged in January 2019 and reportedly married in October 2022.

Fans noticed Leon’s absence Sister wivesespecially while the ongoing feud between the Brown family takes place on screen. Much of the drama has positioned Kody, 55, and his estranged wife, Robyn Brown, as the ones to blame for most of the problems, to which Meri notes that “there’s a lot there” to unpack.

“There’s a lot to dissect there, and I think it’s very fair for everyone to have their own feelings and perspectives about it, and that they’re real to them,” explains Meri. “They’re right for Kody and Robyn, and they’re right for the kids. You know what I mean? And they’re very different for everyone.”

Comparing the drama with Wickedthe famous 1995 musical that turned the story on Broadway, which has since become a major motion picture starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, Meri says, “When you look The Wizard of Ozyou see one perspective, and then you look Wicked and it’s a completely different perspective.”

“You’re not in that place. You’re not in that person’s head, so you don’t know what they’re thinking or doing,” she continues. “And so, I really think that’s what it is. With so many relationships and conversations within our family, they’re just looking at it from their perspective. And you can’t see the other side.”
