Still reeling from Christine, Janelle and Meri Brown’s decisions to leave their polygamous marriage, the Brown family patriarch, 55, continues to grapple with the aftermath of the divorce in PEOPLE’s exclusive first look at Sister wives‘ season 19 mid-season announcement.

Meri’s friends jokingly ask if she “fucks men”, Christine goes wedding dress shopping after her engagement to David Woolley, and Janelle looks forward to a new chapter “in the biggest way”.

As all three ladies look to the future, the video cuts to Kody’s Valentine’s dinner with his only remaining wife, Robyn.

“So it’s okay that this Valentine’s Day is just you and me?” she asks, to which he replies, “I feel like I’ve been slapped with polygamy.”

Although Meri and Janelle have broken up with Kody, the worst may be yet to come. After Robyn admits that Kody is “very angry” about the split, the trailer teases a fight that may be brewing as Meri and Janelle express concerns about their property division.

“I think they’re worried about whether I’m going to be fair or not. Divorce just takes away all the trust,” Kody says as he looks over the land Janelle and Meri have invested in.

“I’m probably going to get a lawyer, because I think he could just drag it out if he wanted to,” Janelle says as Meri tells the cameras, “I put money into it. I’m going to get my cut.”

Eventually, the scene cuts to Meri and Janelle walking around the piece of land they helped finance as they contemplate what lies ahead.

“It’s so wrong that we have to do this. I’m so angry,” says Meri.

In his own conversation with the cameras, Kody reflects on the sentimental value of the property and admits that he doesn’t want to “sell” it.

In the end, as tension boils and fights ensue, Kody asks Robyn if she’ll “accept me as a monogamist,” but she admits that their current relationship “isn’t what I wanted.”

The big question hangs in the air as Kody solemnly admits, “This is the end of this family. Right here, right now.”
